OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers closed the home schedule with a 37-29 loss to Evangel on Saturday. MNU's opening drive ended with an interception, and 5 more turnovers thwarted opportunities to score. MNU held a 21-17 halftime lead, but a fumble in the red zone led to a lead-changing touchdown to open the 3rd. In the 4th quarter, MNU drives ended with two turnovers on downs and a scoop and score to put the game away.

Blake Atkins was 32-50 for 366 yards and 3 touchdowns. Colinje Wilridge rushed for 87 yards. Myles Hymes had 9 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown. And Caleb Tanis had 10 catches for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns.
