MARSHALL, Mo. - The Pioneers started fast and won 74-61 at Missouri Valley on Wednesday. MNU was without injured point guard Makayla Gooch, who didn't start for the first time in over 2 seasons. The game was tied at 8 after 5 minutes of play when MNU went on a 14-0 run to take a big lead. The rest of the game was played evenly as the lead hovered between 9 and 17, and the Pioneers earned a 13-point road victory.

MNU won the 1st quarter 24-11 to take control.

Individual Leaders
Jordynn Gonzalez led all scorers with 15 points. Anna Roulston shot 6-8 for 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 blocks off the bench. Megan Scott added 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks. And TrEl'Shawn Smith had 10 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals in her first start.
