OLATHE, Kan. - MNU lost a heartbreaker at home on Saturday. The Culver-Stockton Wildcats came out strong, outscoring the Pioneers 25-16 after 10 minutes of play. The Wildcats continued to push their lead, ending the first half with a 44-27 lead. MNU turned it around in the 3rd quarter, using a 20-9 period to get back into the game. In the 4th, the lead was cut down to 0 with 2 minutes left.
Makayla Gooch had a fast-break layup to tie the game up, but Culver-Stockton's Taylor Green scored on the next possession to give the Wildcats the lead once more. The Pioneers and Wildcats continued to battle trading baskets the rest of the way, but Culver-Stockton left Olathe with a 3-point win.

Carly Harper made a 3-point basket with 4 seconds left in the first half to push the Culver-Stockton lead to 17.
