OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers picked up their first Heart victory with a 28-point win over Missouri Valley on Wednesday. The Vikings started hot and took a 19-12 lead after 8 minutes of play. MNU fought back and tied it with 7 minutes remaining in the half, then went on a big run to close it out. A 14-3 run was capped by a Patrick Cairns 3-pointer in the final seconds to put the Pioneers up by 13. MNU led by 12 with 12:38 remaining, and a 19-3 run turned the game into a rout.
