OLATHE, Kan. - MNU let a double digit lead slip away in a 74-69 loss to Central Methodist on Saturday. The game was tied with 6 minutes left in the first half when MNU went on a 17-2 run to take a 15-point lead. But the Eagles responded in the 2nd half, trimming the deficit to just 4 after 6 minutes of play. The Pioneers built the lead back to 9 with 11 minutes to go, but CMU chipped away again and tied the game 8 minutes later. With 40 seconds left, the Eagles took a 2-point lead. MNU split a pair of free throws in the final seconds, and CMU made 4 straight to close out the game.

CMU's 12-2 run in the second half got them back in the game.
