Pioneers Drop Road Contest at Benedictine

ATCHISON, Kan. - Blake Spellman's big offensive performance was not enough as MNU came up short at Benedictine on Tuesday. The Ravens started the game with an 18-11 run and led by as many as 13 in the first half. The Pioneers reeled them back in and trailed by just 1 with 14 minutes left in the game, but Benedictine pushed the lead back to double digits and held off MNU's every charge.

BC's 9-2 run in the 2nd half put them up by double digits.

Individual Leaders
Blake Spellman shot 9-14 for 24 points. Dru Smith had 15 points in 14 minutes off the bench. Cameron Brady added 13 points. And Patrick Cairns had 10 points and 6 rebounds.
