SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -Â MNU suffered their first loss of a season, 85-78 at Evangel, on Wednesday. The first half was tight until the Crusaders went on a 23-8 run to take a 13-point lead into the locker room. Evangel only increased their advantage in the second half and led by 21 with 9 minutes left. The Pioneers made a game of it, going on a 28-13 run to cut the deficit to 6 with under a minute to play, but Evangel held off the Pioneers to win by 7.
