OLATHE, Kan. - MNU suffered a sweep at the hands of Clarke University on Saturday. The Pride won the first set 25-13 and never looked back, winning the next two sets 25-20 and 25-21.
"Bummer. We didn't show up," said Coach Karagyaurov. "It was a small turnaround time from the match last night and it wasn't a normal "feel" for game day. I simply didn't get the girls going like they are capable of this morning. I'm learning how to motivate and prepare the team for each match and this wasn't a good one for us. That being said, Clarke came at us firing. They hit .345 for the match and we couldn't catch up defensively. Looking forward, we have to regroup and get ready for Baker and Missouri Valley this next week."
