OLATHE, Kan. - MNU won 3-1 over Avila on Tuesday. The Pioneers dominated the first set 25-15 but dropped Set 2. The 3rd and 4th sets belonged to MNU to give them the match. "I'm so proud of this program," said Coach Karagyaurov. "We've been deal with a lot these first few weeks. But over and over again these ladies bounce back and show work ethic and character that inspires me as their leader. Tonight, we learned and got better both on the JV and varsity side of the program and that's always the goal! It was fun to see Avila as a non-conference match. That's new for me! I had seen some scout video and the ladies executed the game plan well. It was also great to be in the Cook Center in a normal game setting and see the support from the MNU community. Thank you to everyone who came out to support! I can't even express how proud I am to be back in the Cook Center and to called coach by this incredible group of women."
