MNU Falls at #15 Hastings in Double OT

HASTINGS, Neb. - MNU lost a heartbreaker in double overtime at perennial power and #15-ranked Hastings on Saturday. The Broncos hadn't lost a regular season home match since early in 2017 but the Pioneers applied pressure all game long. The Pioneers played possession and had the ball most of the time, and Hastings created opportunities with quick counter attacks which MNU thwarted through regulation. Early in the second overtime, a Hastings shot banged off the post and back to a wide open player who finished from close and ended the match.

"We were disappointed to lose the match," said Coach Wardlaw. "but the performance the guys gave showed great promise."
