Emily Robinson won the game in circle and at the plate in a 5-2 victory at Evangel on Monday. In a conference tournament play-in game, the winner would move on and the loser's season would come to and end. In the 1st inning, MNU got on the board when
Kaleigh Bayless took the first pitch off the left shoulder and
Emily Robinson followed with a single. An error on a bunt attempt allowed Bayless to score, but MNU left the bases loaded. In the top of the 2nd,
Kellie Dumas reached on a walk and
Emily Butcoff's bunt resulted in an error. After Bayless bunted them into scoring position,
Emily Robinson drilled a 3-run homer to left to put MNU up big. Evangel got 1 back in the 3rd, but
Cassidy Berry's RBI single put MNU back up by 4. The Crusaders picked up a run in the 5th, but Robinson shut them down the rest of the way and the Pioneers won 5-2.

Robinson's 3-run homer in the 2nd inning put MNU up 4-0.
