FAYETTE, Mo. - The Pioneers dropped a pair at the hands of CMU on Saturday. In
Game 1, the Eagles scored twice in the bottom of the 1st while MNU was shut out until the 7th. Trailing by 3, the Pioneers managed to get the tying run to the plate, but a groundout ended the threat and CMU won 3-1.

Game 2, CMU scored in every inning to win 12-4 via the mercy rule. The Pioneers scored 3 in the 3rd - highlighted by a
Kaleigh Bayless 2-run homer - and 1 int he 4th, but it was not enough and CMU completed the sweep.
