Game 1, Valley got on the board with a homer in the 1st inning, then added 3 in the 4th for a big lead. MNU got back in it in the bottom of the 4th by scoring on a passed ball and a
Chase Robinson 2-out RBI single to cut the deficit in half, but Valley held the Pioneer offense the rest of the way for a 4-2 victory.

Jhon Vargas struck out 9 in a complete game loss. And
Jeremie Gonzalez (2-3, 2B),
Chase Robinson (1-3, RBI), and
Nick Wagoner (1-2, BB) led the offense.
In
Game 2, - MNU jumped out to a big lead and held on for an 11-5 victory.
Jeremie Gonzalez launched a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 1st, and a Valley error led to a 3rd run. In the bottom of the 2nd, a pair of 2-run singles from
Joshuan Sandoval and Gonzalez made it 7-0. Three more scored in the 3rd for a 10-0 lead, and MNU cruised to an 11-5 victory.
Game 2 Turning Point
MNU's 10 early runs was too much to overcome.
Game 2 Individual Leaders
Austin Conour struck out 6 in 6 innings for the win.
Brady Boyd threw 2 scoreless innings of relief. And
Joshua Crispin (1-3, 3 R, 2B, BB, SB, HBP),
Will Morris (1-3, 2 R, RBI, 2 BB),
Joshuan Sandoval (2-5, 2B, 4 RBI),
Jeremie Gonzalez (3-5, R, HR, 5 RBI), and
Juwan Padro (1-3, R, 2B, BB) had big games at the plate.
In
Game 3, Valley took an early 2-0 lead in the 1st inning, but MNU used a 3-run 5th to take a 4-3 lead. Valley responded right away with 2 in the 6th and extended with 2 more in the 7th. The Pioneers got one back in the bottom of the 7th, and had the winning run at 2nd base with 2 outs in the 9th, but a flyout to the warning track ended the threat and gave Valley the series.

Valley's 2-run 6th gave them the lead for good.
