OLATHE, Kan. - MNU and #1 Benedictine were tied with 4 minutes left, but the Pioneers couldn't pull off the upset in an 82-77 loss on Saturday. The Ravens started the game with a 10-2 run, but MNU quickly tied it at 12. Benedictine used an 11-2 run to take a 10-point lead and closed the half up by 13. Without center 
Dakota Quinn due to a first-half injury, the Pioneers used back-to-back 3s by 
Dante Scroggins and 
Trey Brown to chip away early in the second half, and MNU trailed by just 5. The Ravens pushed the lead back to 12, but a 19-7 Pioneer run - capped by an 
Isaac McCullough 3-pointer - tied the game at 67 with 4 minutes to play. The Benedictine defense stood firm, however, and the Pioneers recorded just 2 field goals as the Ravens pushed the lead to 7 with free throws.
Turning Point
Benedictine scored 6 straight points after MNU finally tied it.
Individual Leaders
Kellan Turner led all scorers with 20 points and 7 assists. 
Jonathan Green had 18 points and 6 rebounds. 
Trey Brown had 14 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. And 
Isaac McCullough had 10 points off the bench.
