Dakota Quinn was 1 rebound shy of a triple double in MNU's 74-68 victory over #14 Peru State on Monday. The Pioneers got a dunk off the opening tip, another on the next possession, and never trailed to win their 3rd straight game. MNU started hot and led by 19 with 4 minutes left in the 1st half, but Peru threatened to reel them back in with a quick 8-0 run. The Pioneers answered immediately, however, and used an 8-0 run of their own to lead by 19 at the break. In the 2nd half, a Kellen Turner 3-pointer put MNU up by 24 with 13 minutes left, but Peru State started to chip away. With 3 minutes left, the Bobcats started draining threes and turned a 13-point deficit to 3 with 23 seconds left. But the Pioneers hit their free throws down the stretch to hold them off.

MNU's 22-6 run in the first half opened up an insurmountable lead.

Jonathan Green shot 8-15 for 19 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals.
Dakota Quinn shot 8-15 for 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 blocks. Kellen Turner hit 4 threes for 16 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals.
Isaac McCullough added 13 points off the bench. And
Cam Chrisman had a 5 assists in 11 minutes off the bench.
