OLATHE, Kan. - Four Pioneers scored 16 points in MNU's 93-78 victory over Ozark Christian on Tuesday. A 20-7 opening run put the Pioneers in control, but the Ambassadors would not go quietly. A 25-point lead was whittled to 15 at halftime, and pressure defense in the second half saw the MNU lead drop to 7 with 6 minutes left. The Pioneers hit enough free throws to hold off the scrappy OCC squad, and MNU won by 15.
