Levi Taylor connected with
Arnold Adams for a 48-yard touchdown pass to open the 2nd quarter. Another touchdown pass in the final minute of the half gave MNU a 13-0 halftime lead.
In the second half, the Wildcats got on the board with a safety, but MNU responded with a KJ Littlejohn Jr. forced fumble and a
Pablo Pereira field goal to take a 16-2 lead. Culver answered with a touchdown near the end of the 3rd quarter, but the MNU defense stood firm the rest of the way.
Two straight 3-and-outs put the game deep into the 4th quarter, and a 73-yard touchdown burst from
Jamar Moya with under 4 minutes remaining put the game away.

The Pioneer defense held Culver's passing offense - which averaged nearly 300 yards per game - to just 160 yards.

Jamar Moya rushed for 138 yards with a touchdown and caught a career-high 8 passes for 65 yards.
