OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers have won 8 in a row after a double header sweep of Evangel on Wednesday.
In Game 1, MNU rallied for 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st, and
Taylor Creason's grand slam in the bottom of the 2nd blew the game open for an 8-1 lead. But Evangel scored a single run in every inning after the first to close the gap. MNU pushed the lead back to 6 with a 3-run 6th and held on to win 11-6.

Jostyn Bebout struck out 7 in a complete game victory. And
Madison Butcoff (2-4, R),
Emily Robinson (3-4, 3 R, 2B, RBI),

In Game 2, Evangel jumped on MNU with 3 runs in the top of the 1st. MNU was held off the board until the bottom of the 4th when
Emily Robinson led off with a double and scored 2 outs later on a
Kaitlyn Leffle single.
Tessa Ward followed with an RBI double and the Pioneers trailed 3-2. In the bottom of the 5th, MNU had runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out when
Emily Robinson's foul popout turned into a game-tying sacrifice fly when
Jessica Molina scampered home.
Macie Jones followed with a go-ahead RBI double, and MNU won 4-3.

Macie Jones' 2-out RBI double gave MNU the lead in the 5th.
