OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers dropped Game 1 but won Game 2 vs. Culver-Stockton on Saturday. In Game 1, MNU couldn't score while the Wildcats built a 6-0 lead. MNU finally dented the plate in the bottom of the 6th, but Culver rallied for 3 in the top of the 7th. The Pioneers answered with 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th, but it wasn't enough and Culver won by 3.

Culver built a 9-1 lead before MNU could get anything going.

Emily Robinson kept Culver off the scoreboard and MNU rallied for 2 runs in the 3rd. Robinson's solo homer in the 6th increased the lead, and MNU held on to win 3-0.
