OLATHE, Kan. - A tight game got away from MNU in an 8-point loss at the hands of CMU on Saturday. Neither team led by more than 4 until the Pioneers went on a 13-3 run in the 3rd quarter to take a 10-point lead. CMU quickly closed the gap in the 4th quarter and took a 1-point lead with 5 minutes remaining. The Pioneers battled back to take the lead with 3:41 left, but back-to-back CMU 3-pointers and a technical foul ballooned the CMU to 9 in just 2 minutes and MNU couldn't recover.
