The 3rd quarter was scoreless as the offenses turned it over 3 times, and MNU recovered another fumble in the red zone to start the 4th.

Gunnar Brown caught another touchdown pass, and the Pioneers took a 20-19 lead. With under 12 minutes remaining, O'Niel Williams III picked off an Evangel pass in the red zone and
Jamain Lang's touchdown catch put MNU up 27-19. The Pioneer defense forced punts on the next 2 drives, and when MNU was trying to run out the clock,
Jamar Moya broke loose for a 59-yard game-icing touchdown run. Evangel scored on their final drive, but MNU recovered the onside kick to secure the victory.
