ABERDEEN, S.D. - The MNU Men's soccer team rolled through the University of Providence Saturday afternoon in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Formerly the University of Great Falls, the Argo's were playing their first game of the season. From the kickoff the Pioneers controlled possession and dominated field position. The Argo's were left with opportunities from counter attacks and set pieces. It didn't take long for the chances to start coming MNU's way.Â

Dominic Harrington got the scoring started in the ninth minute. He was assisted by
Matias Cabello. Before the half was over it was 4-1 to MNU. Harrington returned the favor by assisting Cabello on his goal. The Argos were then credited with an own goal as
Etienne Proult had his shot deflect off a defender & find the back of the net.
Raimundo Cabello scored MNU's fourth. He took advantage of a defensive mistake and finished from close range. Providence pulled a goal back on a nice finish by Christoffer Bisbo.

The second half was much of the same. Harrington secured his brace with a penalty kick conversion in the 64th minute.
Clark Campbell finished up the scoring with a back post finish after the Argos keeper had saved Cabello's original shot. The game finished with MNU securing the 6-1 victory.
