Felipe Villela Vahia de Abreu was born in 10/03/1992 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ... He is the son of Fatima and Eduardo ... He played at Fluminense Football Club academy, one of the best in the country, before he came to the US. At MidAmerica Nazarene University, Felipe has been to two National Championships round 16 (2014 and 2016) and one Runner-Up (2015). At MNU, he has also won the Heart of America Athletic Conference outright in 2016. He will graduate in December 2017 with a Sports Management & Business Administration degree ... He was inducted to the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business and the National Society of Leadership and Success due to his high scholastic attainments and leadership value ... Felipe has also received the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar Athlete award for his academic and athletic success every season so far. Felipe has also been coaching and working a Sales Representative for the KC Legends Soccer Club for the last two years. He is now coaching Girls U11 and U12, as well as Boys U15 and U17.
