OZARK, Mo. - MNU used a 6-run 2nd to build a big lead en route to a 13-3 victory in the second round of the Heart Conference Tournament on Saturday. After scoring 1 in the 1st on a wild pitch, MNU took advantage of walks and defensive miscues to blow it open in the top of the 2nd. A walk, followed by a fielder's choice near double play which recorded no outs, and another walk loaded the bases with no outs. After a flyout, another walk make it 2-0.
Jason Jones singled to bring home another, and
Logan Tills walked to make it 4-0. Another fielder's choice with no out brought home another run, and a wild pitch and a grounder made it 7-0. MNU scored single runs in the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings before adding 3 in the 8th for the 13-3 final.
