SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - MNU was swept on the road at Evangel on Wednesday. In Game 1, the Crusaders rallied for 7 in the bottom of the 2nd and that's all either team would get.

Game 1 Turning Point
A 7-run Evangel 2nd.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Kourtney Larson and Jostyn Bebout combined for 4.1 innings of scoreless relief. And Madison Butcoff (1-3), Jostyn Bebout (1-2), and Hanna VanLanker (1-2) got MNU's 3 hits.

In Game 2, MNU jumped in front with a Lydia Reyes 2-run triple and an RBI groundout from Natalie Clark in the 1st inning. Evangel answered with 1 in each of the first two innings. The Pioneers got 1 more in the 3rd on a wild pitch but were shut down the rest of the way. Evangel rallied for 3 runs on 5 hits in the 4th to take the lead and added 2 more in the 6th to put the game away.
