FAYETTE, Mo. - MNU swept a double header at CMU for the first time since 2010 on Tuesday. In Game 1, CMU scored 1 in the first and 2 in the 4th to take a 3-0 lead. In the top of the 5th, Madison Cutcoff's 2-RBI double cut into the lead, and
Lydia Reyes followed with a 2-run single to give MNU the lead. The Pioneers scored again in the 6th and 2 more in the 7th to win 7-3.

In Game 2, Reyes homered in the 1st to start the scoring, and MNU added a run in the 4th to take a 3-0 lead. CMU got 1 in the bottom of the 4th, but a
Brittany Jacobsen's 2-run homer capped a 3-run 6th to put MNU up 6-1. CMU got 2 back in the bottom of the 6th, but the Pioneers held on to win 6-3.
Game 2 Turning Point
Clarisa Cortez entered the circle in the bottom of the 3rd leading 2-0 with 2 on. After a walk loaded the bases with no outs, a strikeout, fielder's choice out at home, and another strikeout ended the threat.
Game 2Â Individual Leaders
Lydia Reyes picked up the win and went 2-3 with a 2-run homer, and
Brittany Jacobsen (1-3 R, HR, 2 RBI) and
Hanna VanLanker (1-2, R, RBI, BB, 2 SB) had RBIs as well.
