OLATHE, Kan. - MNU won a pair of games over Mount Mercy at ODAC on Saturday. In Game 1, Clarisa Cortez and Jostyn Bebout combined to shut out the Mustangs on 4 hits while MNU scored 2 in the 1st and 1 in the 2nd to win 3-0.

Game 1 Turning Point
A 2-out bases-loaded single from Natalie Clark gave MNU a lead they would not relinquish.

Game 1 Individual Leaders
Jostyn Bebout allowed just 2 hits in 4.1 innings of relief for the win. And Maddie Johnson (2-3, R) and Natalie Clark (1-3, 2 RBI, SB) led the offense.

In Game 2, both teams scored in the 1st but were held scoreless for the next 8 innings. With the international tie break rule in play for the 10th, Mt. Mercy drew a walk and hit a triple to bring in 2 and scored another on a groundout to take a 4-1 lead. MNU singled to lead off the bottom of the 10th, but the tie break runner was thrown out on the play. After a flyout, Madison Butcoff tripled and Lydia Reyes reached on an error to put the tying run on base. Emily Robinson drilled a game-tying double off the fence, and the game went to the 11th. MNU held the Mustangs scoreless in the top of the inning, and Brittany Jacobsen's 1-out single scored Maddie Johnson for the walk-off win.

Game 2 Turning Point
Lydia Reyes reached on an error to extend the game and allow Emily Robinson's game-tying double in the 10th.

Game 2 Individual Leaders
Emily Robinson pitched 10.1 innings of 4-hit relief for the win. And Madison Butcoff (2-5, R, 3B, RBI, SB), Emily Robinson (3-4, 2B, 2 RBI, BB, SB), and Korrissa Aguilar (2-3, R) had multi-hit games.
