OLATHE, Kan. - MNU dominated Game 1 and used a late-inning comeback in Game 2 to sweep the University of St. Mary on Thursday. USM led the first game 2-0 before MNU rallied for 4 runs on 4 hits in the bottom of the 2nd. Three more crossed in the bottom of the 4th and 5th as the Pioneers poured it on, and the game ended via the mercy rule.

Korrissa Aguilar's bases-loaded single in the 2nd gave MNU the lead for good.

Clarisa Cortez earned the victory in relief. And
Madison Butcoff (2-3, 2 RBI, SF),

Brittany Jacobsen, but USM built a 5-2 lead over the next 3 innings. MNU got 1 back in the 5th with a
Lydia Reyes RBI double, and with 2 outs in the 6th,
Korrissa Aguilar's 2-run triple tied the game.
Madison Butcoff followed with a single to give MNU the lead, and MNU held on for a 6-5 win.
