Zach Stinnett faced the minimum through 4.1 innings and didn't allow a hit until the 5th. MNU got on the board in the 2nd when
Robert Berning led off with a single and
Jacob Jenkins did the same. After a double steal with 1 out,
Christian Quinones grounded out to drive in the first run. In the top of the 3rd,
Jason Jones homered with 1 out to give MNU a 2-0 lead. Friends got a run back in the 7th, but
Lenzie Foley's throw home cut down the game-tying run with 2 outs, and the Pioneers held the lead.
Joel Lopez pitched the final 2 innings for the save.
