Pioneers Handle Clarke on Senior Day

OLATHE, Kan. - Seniors David Nelson and Justin Randall each shot 7-12 as MNU beat Clarke 83-73 on Senior Day. Clarke jumped out to an 18-9 lead and had several opportunities to stretch the lead to double digits in the first half, but MNU kept reeling them back in and trailed by just 3 at the break. With 13 minutes left, Clarke led by 8 when MNU went on a 12-0 run capped by 2 David Nelson threes. Another 8-0 run just minutes later stretched the lead to 9, and the Pioneers won the regular season finale.

From the 13:10 mark to the 7:00 mark of the second half, MNU outscored Clarke 22-5.
