Gabriel Jordan hit a 3 with 16 seconds left, and Mercy split a pair of free throws after a foul. MNU had 2 shots in the final possession, a 3-points and a 2, but both missed and the Mustangs escaped to advance to the semis.
Turning Point
An 8-0 run midway through the second half gave Mt. Mercy a 7-point lead they would not relinquish.
