OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers picked up their biggest win of the young season with a 4-2 victory over #13 York on Tuesday. The Pioneers got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning when
Nelson Santiago's 1-out double brought home 2 runs. York answered in the top of the 3rd with 2 runs to tie it, and the game remained tied until the bottom of the 7th.
Isaac Geisinger led off with a hit and
Lenzie Foley followed with a bunt single. The runners moved up on a wild pitch, and
Christian Quinones drove them home with a single to give MNU a 4-2 lead.
Zach Stinnett and
Joel Lopez finished the game scoreless, and MNU won their 4th straight.
