OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers struggled to break the half court zone trap, but held off Friends University for a 91-85 victory on Saturday. MNU led by 13 with 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, but the Falcons closed the half on a 17-5 run to get back in the game. The run continued after the break and Friends led by 4, but a 9-0 run gave MNU the lead for good. The Pioneers maintained a 2-3 possession lead in the 4th to hold off the scrappy Falcons.
