Pioneers Win Late at #4 Missouri Valley

MARSHALL, Mo. - The #25 Pioneers picked up a huge 3-2 road win at #4 Missouri Valley on Wednesday. MNU got on the board early when Dominic Harrington cleaned up a scramble in front of the net in the 6th minute. Valley tied it 12 minutes later, but Ivan Ruiz Vidal put MNU up 2-1 in the 28th minute. The Vikings tied it at 2 in the 62nd minute and the game appeared headed to overtime. But with 1:20 remaining, Raimundo Cabello rebounded a shot off the post and had the ball in front of the net. He slotted it home for the 3-2 victory.
