Peru, Neb. - The Pioneers lost their 3rd straight game in an 86-80 defeat at Peru State on Saturday. The Bobcats took a 20-11 lead after 8 minutes, but MNU went on a 13-4 run to tie the game. The Pioneers led by 3 at halftime, and the second half was tight throughout. With the score tied and under 4 minutes on the clock, Peru took advantage of 2 MNU turnovers to build a 7-point lead. The Bobcats converted free throws down the stretch to hold off MNU.
