OLATHE, Kan. - The Pioneers held Avila to 33% shooting in a 72-64 victory on Monday. MNU built an 11-point lead with under 3 minutes to play in the first half, but Avila closed the period on a 9-2 run to get back in the game. MNU controlled the second half and maintained a 7-10 point lead to snap a 3-game losing streak.
