The Pioneers went to Lamoni and swept a double header from Graceland by the scores of 9-7 and 5-3 on Friday. In Game 1, MNU scored 2 in the top of the first when Jordan Eckley tripled and Logan Tills knocked him in. Kelvin Perez singled with 2 outs to drive in another. Starter Brett Ebers held Graceland scoreless through 5 innings, and MNU added 2 in the sixth with RBIs from Christian Quinones and Lenzie Foley to put MNU up 4-0. Graceland rallied for 4 runs in the bottom of the sixth, however, and the game was tied. MNU answered right back with a 2-run seventh, but Graceland managed a 2-out 2-run single to tie in the bottom of the inning to send it to extras. In the top of the eighth, MNU loaded the bases with no outs, and Jason Jones drove in 2 with a single. Kelvin Perez followed with a sac fly to give MNU a 9-6 lead. Graceland scored and had 2 runners on in the bottom of the eighth, but Lenzie Foley struck out the last batter to preserve the victory.Foley got his first win of the season in relief. And

In Game 2, MNU scored on an error in the first to take the lead, and
Jason Jones drilled a 2-run homer in the third to put the Pioneers up 3-0. Graceland scored in the third, but the Pioneers tacked on single runs in the fifth and sixth. Graceland scored a run in the sixth and seventh, but

Zach Stinnett's start to complete the sweep. Stinnett picked up his 3rd win; Taute his 1st save. And
