Kyleesha Weston filled the stat sheet in MNU's 68-53 victory over Martin Methodist on Thursday. The senior guard had 9 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 6 steals, and 2 blocks as MNU controlled most of the game. After the Redhawks started with a 7-2 run, the Pioneers dominated. A 13-0 run put MNU up by 8, and the first quarter ended with a 19-10 advantage. The Pioneers extended the lead in the second quarter to take a 13-point lead into halftime.Martin Methodist stayed with the Pioneers in the third quarter, but MNU pulled away in the fourth quarter, leading by as many as 18 while forcing 23 turnovers.
Megan Balcom led the offense with 15 points.
Nathalie Felipe shot 6-12 for 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Bailey Rinehart had 10 points and 5 rebounds.
