Pioneers Crush Eagles

Jonas Page was on fire in MNU's 83-60 victory at Avila on Wednesday. In what was supposed to be a battle between 2 teams trying to reach the national tournament, MNU dominated from the start. After 6 minutes, the Pioneers led 11-2 and Avila never threatened. At halftime the Pioneers led by 21, and the streaky Avila offense couldn't make a run. MNU nursed a 20-point lead for the final 20 minutes and won easily.

Jonas Page was 10-14 from the field including 4-5 from beyond the arc for 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. Jordan Whelan (9) and Marshawn Arnold (8) contributed off the bench. Justin Randall had 9 points and 5 rebounds. And Nick Syrie dished out 9 assists.
