Pioneers Handle Eagles

The #8 Pioneers traveled to Avila and picked up a 66-41 victory on Wednesday. An 8-0 start for MNU led to a dominant performance in which they never trailed. The defense didn't allow double digits in any of the first 3 quarters as the offense built a 26-point lead. Avila score 18 in the fourth as MNU cruised to the blowout win.

Nathalie Felipe led all scorers with 17 points on 6-8 shooting in 17 minutes off the bench. Bailey Rinehart added 10 points. Whitney Moia collected 9 boards in 16 minutes off the bench. And Megan Balcom dished out 7 assists and hauled in 6 rebounds.
