The Pioneers used a big second quarter to build a lead in Tuesday's 69-53 victory at Avila. After leading 16-13 after the first, MNU won the second 20-7 to take a 16-point lead to the locker room. The Pioneers led by as many as 22 and held the Eagles to 30% shooting.
Jayden Oliver shot 9-16 for a game-high 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Ashley Gibson had 12 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks.
Tristin Wicks added 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks. And
Bailey Rinehart had 6 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists.
