Pioneers Smother Ravens

The MNU defense held #18 Benedictine to a season-low 45 points on 33% shooting in a 66-45 victory on Saturday. The Pioneers trailed by 2 after 5 minutes, but a 9-4 run gave MNU a 3-point lead at the end of the first quarter. MNU held Benedictine to 8 points in each of the next 2 quarters to build an 18-point lead, and the Pioneers cruised to a 21-point win.
