Wicks Leads MNU over Evangel

Tristin Wicks put up 20 points in just 18 minutes in MNU's 78-50 victory over Evangel on Thursday. After a 5-0 start to the game by the Crusaders, the Pioneers went on a 16-3 run to close the first quarter. MNU extended the margin throughout the contest and maintained a 20-point lead for most of the second half.

Wicks led all scorers with 20 points while pulling in 7 rebounds. Kyleesha Weston had 15 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Jasmine Webb added 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Megan Balcom had 10 points and 5 assists. And Whitney Moia had 10 rebounds and 3 blocks in 15 minutes off the bench.
