Pioneers Sweep Season Opener

MNU is 1-0 after a sweep of Morningside to open the season on Friday. The Pioneers jumped out to a huge lead in the first set and cruised to a 25-9 victory. Sets 2 and 3 were both 25-20 as MNU pulled away late. Gisele Silva led the way with 15 kills and 8 digs. Sofija Berezovska added 10 kills and 4 blocks. Tashley Snyder recorded a match-high 15 digs. And Rachel Kater had 36 assists.

MNU is 1-0. The next match is Tuesday at home vs. Kansas Wesleyan at 7:00.
