Pioneers to Play for Title

The Pioneers cruised to a 19-point victory over Culver-Stockton in the HAAC Post Season Tournament semifinals on Friday. MNU will face 2-seed Benedictine for the tourney title on Monday. Megan Balcom didn't miss a shot in the first half, nailing 4 threes and a short jumper to head into halftime with 14 points and a 15-point MNU lead. In the second half, the Pioneers led by 20 points most of the way and held Culver to 33% shooting for the game. The final was 80-61.

Megan Balcom finished 6-8 from the field and 2-2 from the line for 19 points and 6 assists. Jasmine Webb was 7-9 for 16 points and 5 rebounds off the bench. Kyleesha Weston was 5-6 for 11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. And Tristin Wicks had 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

MNU is 26-5. The next game is the HAAC tourney title game on Monday at home vs. Benedictine (24-8) at 7:00.
