MNU trailed 1-0 but scored the next 14 points to take a commanding lead which they would not relinquish. In the second half the Eagles went on an 8-0 run to cut a 23-point deficit to 15. But after a time out, MNU allowed just 6 points in the final 10 minutes, including a 7-minute stretch where CMU was held scoreless. The 34-point win was the 3rd straight blowout for the Pioneers, winning by an average of 36.7 points in that span.
Ellie Dietz went 4-5 from beyond the arc for 14 points off the bench.
Megan Balcom also hit 4 threes for 14 points, 3 assists, and 4 steals.
Jasmine Webb was 6-8 from the floor for 12 points off the bench.
Daria Sprew had 10 points and 8 rebounds.
Bailey Rinehart added 10 points off the bench. And
Kyleesha Weston had 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.
