Huge 2nd Half Propels Pioneers Over Biola

Hot shooting sent Biola into halftime with the lead, but the #10 Pioneers exploded in the second half to win 70-47. Neither team got much going early, and the first quarter ended tied at 11. In the second quarter Biola scored consistently from beyond the arc, a took a 32-30 lead to the locker room.

The second half was all Pioneers. MNU locked down on defense, holding Biola to 6 points in the third quarter and 9 points in the fourth. Meanwhile, the Pioneers put up 15 and 25 to outscore Biola 40-15 and claim the victory.

Megan Balcom and Jasmine Webb scored 15 points apiece. Kyleesha Weston had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Nathalie Felipe added 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals.
