Pioneers Blown Out in OKC

MNU got down 19-0 in the opening 5 minutes of the game and never got it back to single digits in a 107-73 loss at Mid-America Christian on Friday. After the huge opening run, MNU went on a 17-8 run to cut the deficit to 10, but the Evangels pushed the lead back to 17 by halftime. The second half was more of the same, and MNU lost by 34. It was the first 30-point loss for MNU since early in the 2005-06 season.

Marshawn Arnold had 20 points and 6 rebounds off the bench in his MNU debut. Chris Parker had 14 points in 17 minutes off the bench. And Ryan Garcia added 10 points off the bench.

MNU is 8-4. The next game is Saturday, January 2 at home vs. Bellevue (11-5) at 2:00.
