An 18-0 run in the final 9 minutes propelled MNU to a 70-50 victory at Lindenwood University-Belleville on Tuesday night. The Lynx opened the game on a 12-6 run, but MNU finished the first quarter on a 12-3 run to lead by 3 at the first break. By halftime the Pioneer lead was 9, but LU-B fought back in the third to get within 4. The teams traded buckets to start the fouth, but the Lynx basket at the 8:53 mark was their final point. The Pioneers made stop after stop while building the lead back to double digits. The 18-0 run closed out the contest, and MNU won by 20.
Megan Balcom finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Jasmine Webb had 11 points and 12 rebounds. And
Kyleesha Weston had 7 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals.
