Pioneers Sweep Eagles

The #9 women won 71-60 and the #21 men won 96-78 over Avila on Wednesday. In the women's game, the teams were tied after the first quarter, but the Pioneers won each of the next 3 quarters to win by double digits.

Megan Balcom had 20 points to lead the offense. Jasmine Webb added 12 points on 6-9 shooting. Nathalie Felipe had 12 points off the bench. And Kyleesha Weston stuffed the stat sheet with 7 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals.

MNU is 5-0 (3-0 Heart). The next game is Saturday at Benedictine (8-1, 2-1) at 2:00.
